BEIJING, March 9 (Xinhua) -- Gu Quan scored 27 points to pace Shenzhen for a 101-83 win over Guangsha in the 45th round of the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) league on Saturday evening.
Led by Gu and Yu Dehao, Shenzhen took a 10-0 spurt to put them up 25-20 in the first quarter, and had another 11-2 run to extend their lead to double digits in the second half.
After Guangsha managed to close up to two points, Shenzhen answered with a 15-2 scoring spree to lead 78-63 with Dwight Buycks's 3-pointer and never looked back again.
Wang Xiaohui hit a pair of 3-pointers to help visiting Beijing tie 22-all before Ty Lawson powered for a 9-2 run to put Shandong leading 53-45 into the second half.
Beijing overtook Shandong 61-58 with a 16-1 run, and led 98-97 before Justin Hamilton missed his free throws to surrender the match for Beijing for who Wang and Hamilton combined for 48 points.
Maciej Lampe got 30 points and 26 rebounds as Jilin defeated Qingdao 107-103.
