KUWAIT CITY, Nov. 14 (Xinhua) -- The 43rd Kuwait International Book Fair kicked off on Wednesday at the Kuwait International Fairground.
Saad Al-Enezi, director of the book fair, said at a press conference over the fair on Sunday that a total of 505 publishers from 26 countries and regions will participate in the exhibition.
The book fair, which is set to be held until Nov. 24, will display more than 87,000 books and publications, including literature, economics, technology, geography, children's books and dictionaries, he added.
During the fair, various activities such as children's book clubs, small forums, art and architecture exhibitions will be held.
The annual Kuwait International Book Fair is one of the most important book fairs in the Middle East.
