BRATISLAVA, Aug. 31 (Xinhua) -- Slovak football champion Spartak Trnava advanced to the European League UEFA Group Stage for the first time in the history.
Spartak eliminated Slovenian champion Olimpija Lubljana in the play-off after the draw 1-1 at home on Thursday night and 2-0 win last week.
Trnava scored the first goal in 12th minute through Boris Godal. Olimpija managed to level the score 1-1 as Niko Kapun beat the Trnava goalkeeper at the 42nd minute.
