BAKU, Aug. 17 (Xinhua) -- Azerbaijani Armed Forces on Friday conducted tactical flight drills with the involvement of combat helicopters, the country's defense ministry said in a statement.
The drills were conducted following the plan of combat training approved by Azerbaijan's Minister of Defense Zakir Hasanov.
During the exercises, pilots conducted tasks on detecting and destroying various facilities of conditional enemy.
They executed other regulatory tasks as well.
Helicopter crews carried out tasks to provide air support to the combined-arms units and subunits in various types of battle.
All the tasks assigned by the defense minister were successfully completed, the statement said.
